1. LIPTON PEACH ICED TEA CANCELLED
Lipton attempted an early April Fools joke by announcing they were discontinuing their Peach Iced Tea. People were outraged, so much they had to make a statement redacting it and clarifying it was a prank. Not only was this kind of a bad prank, we're also OVER corporations trying to be silly and relatable on social media. ENOUGH!
2. THE DARE ATTEMPTS TO STAGE DIVE
On stage in Bristol, musician, producer and thief of LCD Soundsystem's nachos, The Dare attempted a stage dive onto his sea of unsuspecting 16 year old fans. You can see how well that went for him in the video above
3. 5 YEARS OF THE CELEBRITY IMAGINE VIDEO
In case you forgot, or just suppressed the memory, 5 YEARS ago a bunch of Hollywood celebrities gathered and sung John Lennon's 'Imagine' to heal us from the 2020 global lockdowns. Did they decide on a key or a tempo? No. Did they actually heal the world? Maybe not. But it was a moment for sure.

This weeks Independent Artist of the Week is.... JUBAHLEE!
Jubahlee is an incredible rapper, singer and performer based in Western Sydney. A member of House of Silky, a ballroom collective made up of Queer, Trans, BIPOC performers, she recently performed at the Sissy Ball in Sydney for Mardis Gras. She also recently released her debut EP ‘RUBY’, and joined Tim and Ethan on Race Matters to talk all about it.
