Peter Hollo has presented experimental radio show Utility Fog on fbi.radio since the station's inception in 2003.
Each episode is curated around a narrative of genre-plasticity. You might hear experimental songforms in jazz or postpunk, take in jungle, bass music, dub & techno, and encounter surprising juxtapositions of contemporary classical, avant-garde jazz, folk, noise or glitch.
As much as longtime inspirational goings-on in Japan, or Indonesia's rich experimental underground, these sets are enriched by experimental music, beats, composition & improvisation from Southwest Asia, North Africa and Nordic countries. All are welcome here.
