This Mubi Monday, Sabine and Darcey talked about "The Man who Fell to Earth" directed by Nicolas Roeg. A bizarre and engaging film that stars the legendary performer, David Bowie himself. This is our first film of August, where we are watching Mubi's Cult Classics.
STANDOUT MOMENT
Both Sabine and Darcey's standout moment was when David Bowie transformed into his alien form. He pulls the contacts out of his eyes and emerges in a skin tight silk silver suit with yellow eyes. It's the first time we see him emerge in his true form and the simplicity of his costuming is so great and perfect.
