Sabine and Darcey talk about "Viet and Nam" by MINH QUÝ TRƯƠNG and "Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma" by Jane Schoenbrun, films so different yet both beautiful and captivating and a part New Queer Cinema for our Pride Month programming this June.
STANDOUT MOMENT:
Sabine's standout moment from "Viet and Nam" was when leading actors walk across the beach, collecting seashells. The simplicity was beautiful and touching. Sometimes the simplest moments can be the most impactful.
Darcey's standout moment from "Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma" was a zoom call leading character Kris has with her agent about her ideas for the new Camp Miasma films. Very funny, very engaging, yet also very realistic to the world of online zoom calls we have today.
