Yes yes people, this week we're back in the studio with local artists Redheadrock, Fran, Joobleton, J-Dubz, Eskay1, Omni-G & MC Razo, who are all part of Bondi Beats, headed by DJ/MC Slice.
Expect an hour of original productions, and razor sharp mixing, from some of the cities brightest emerging talents.
Bondi Beats is a Music Workshop & Mentorship Program focusing on the performance and creative processes of the contemporary music and culture that most resonates with young people today: DJing, MCing and music production.
Participants get to master the basics of DJing, MCing and audio production, write original lyrics, record live DJ mixes, produce songs collaboratively, connect with established artists and get the chance to perform live at events, as well as other exciting opportunities.
Bondi Beats is a community platform for young people in the local area, focusing on improving their skill-set and providing genuine opportunities for networking and growth.
It provides a much- needed platform for young people to develop skills in areas they're passionate about, meet like- minded peers and receive guidance/mentorship from established artists.
