Angus Mills (Eora/Sydney) is a producer and DJ with recent releases on Moonshoe and Only Choice.
His 2023 record 'Alva' on Moonshoe Records emerges in the contemporary landscape of producers amalgamating music and sound design. The release combines venturous yet precise sound design and atmospherics with club sensibilities. Crisp, colourful and contemplative cuts are unbound by genre but nuzzled right in between the sound system and home listener.
With a curiosity in piecing together disparate eras of electronic music, Angus Mills' DJ sets are a lens into the inspiration behind his own compositions. Sets draw from many years spent searching for obscure and absorbing music with an empathic eye on the listener at all times.
