Today I am joined in the studio by two very special guests - one that I am grateful to have shared this journey of music and learning with, being Jane Decks and another who also had me as a guest on their own radio show last year, being Andrew Wowk!
Jane Decks is a Sydney-based DJ, producer and curator drawn to the deeper edges of dance music, moving fluidly through house, techno, UK garage, breaks and bass.
Andrew Wowk is DJ, producer, radio host, promoter, and writer who has been active in the Eora music scene for over 20 years. His sets demonstrate a deep respect for the history of dance music, a love for its present, and excitement about its future, weaving various styles into a cohesive whole.
This weekend Jane Decks and Andrew Wowk will be bringing their respective event collectives of Bunny & Friends and Music For Change together to present Timelines, raising money for Divine Playhouse.
Timelines is a warehouse party celebrating generations of electronic music in Eora, where old school DJs will go back-to-back with new school ones. You can expect a variety of house, techno, and electro that celebrates the past, present, and future of electronic music in Eora.
