Surfacing with Luke M de Zilva

24.02.26
Aired on 24.02.26, 11:00pm

@lukemdezilva <- for submissions and 👋

Surfacing is dedicated to experimental and outsider songwriters and composers exploring interesting musical territories.

Tonight’s playlist theme is ‘Chant’ – a dedication to Shareeka Helaluddin, the outgoing Executive Producer of Race Matters here at fbi.radio. She has been making radio for other people for many years, so tonight, we’re going to make some radio for her.

A bunch of the songs I’m going to play were picked by other members of the fbi.radio family for Shareeka – songs that have some form of connection –  and I’m also going to play a bunch that I think Shareeka will like. Stylistically and conceptually, the sum of all of our contributions will form a chant of celebration.
