This week's playlist theme is ‘Litany’ – music using repetition, whether that be rhythmic patterns, hypnotic melodies or repeated words and phrases. It’s also inspired by a little challenge from Sydney musician Mara who you might’ve heard also hosting The Bridge earlier. Mara, knowing my love for the composer Arvo Pärt dared me to play a different piece of his music on every show this year. Litany is the name of the one we’ll hear from Arvo.
