Race Matters / The Inevitability of Resistance

21.07.24
Aired on 21.07.24, 10:00am

We resist. We resist. We resist.
With backs against the wall, there is nowhere left to turn.

We hear an excerpt from the artistic and editorial project The Sunday Paper, written for the Black People’s Union and interrogating our perceptions of decolonisation. Then, Shareeka is joined by Suba of the DeshisForLiberation collective to speak about the brutal violence of the Dhaka police against student protestors in Bangladesh, and what can be done to rebel against state-sanctioned savagery.

This episode was made possible with thanks to Mell Chun, Matt Chun and The Sunday Paper.
