"The motherland breathes, she is alive, and on our backs"
Ethan Lyons and Dayvid Soriano take us through stories and sounds of Mount Makiling, Philippines in our next collaboration with Norient Sounds' TIMEZONES series. Weaving together voices finding ancestral roots in the mountains, we learn that Makiling is more than a place: but a teacher, a compass and site of ecological resistance.
Produced by Ethan Lyons, Dayvid Soriano, and Shareeka Helaluddin; with thanks to Suvani Suri, Thomas Burkhalter Abhishek Mathur and the Norient team.
