The ninth episode of Postmodern Love 'Placeholders’ explored songs that connect us to our love of place.
The feature story for today’s show is a live interview with Khadija "Kitty" Ali, the creative behind the Venus AU - an independent events organisation spotlighting emerging musicians.
Venus AU events are intimate, fostering a community of new and old friendships and have historically taken place at Greenhouse Studios in Petersham.
In June, Greenhouse Studios will cease to be a community organisation that hosts markets, theatrical productions, art exhibitions, creative workshops and live music events - as it is being rebuilt into residential apartments.
To commemorate the space, Khadija Ali will be holding her final event in the space:
Evergreen: An Ode to Greenhouse Studios
Date: Sunday the 18th of May
Location: Greenhouse Studios, Petersham
Price: $42.85
During our interview we also spoke about Khadija's collaboration with The World Is Ours Magazine and Homegrwnau. Links to these magazines below!
