Today’s guest on out of the box is an artist that never stands still. One who’s not afraid to play in the darkness, he has an incredible discography that spans countless genres from ambient, drone, idm, techno, jungle and more often than not many of these in the same record. On his newest and seventh full length album, tremor, he experiments with his first true musical love - shoegaze and industrial music and what an accomplishment it is. I am of course talking about Daniel Avery. Daniel joins me on the program ahead of his show at city recital hall next thursday, 11 June.
