Fanaa is a sonic world builder from Sydney’s underground, stands as one of Australia’s most distinctive electronic voices. Rooted in his Algerian heritage, his sound fuses North African tradition with contemporary dance music. Shaped by Sydney’s sound system culture, it bridges percussion and modern sound design through texture, rhythm, and energy.

Fanaa is the co-founder of the Sydney-based label Eko-System, his catalogue captures the urgency of rear-guard battle and sabotage of existing orders. His releases through General Merchant, Inner-Theft, and Eko-System showcasing his unique craft, perspective and
technical mastery as vessels for both resistance and celebration.
