I’m Laura, a DJ from Almaty, Kazakhstan. My journey into underground electronic music began while I was living in Canada, where I discovered intimate club spaces and a vibrant local scene that completely changed the way I experienced music. Inspired by those nights, I bought my first DJ controller and started mixing.

After returning to Kazakhstan, I continued exploring the local underground scene, constantly discovering new sounds, artists and communities that shaped my taste. Today, my sets blend hyperclub, hard bounce, electro, acid and leftfield club music into energetic, emotional journeys built for the dancefloor.

For this guest mix, I wanted to share the sound that feels most authentic to me. It’s a selection of music that gives me confidence and a sense of freedom every time I play it. Expect fast-paced rhythms, bouncy grooves, acid textures and playful vocals, inspired by the underground club scenes that have influenced me from Canada to Kazakhstan. I hope this mix captures that same energy and brings it all the way to Australia.
