MSG4000: Izhaqo (BGD)

A driving force in the growing electronic music scene. Known to create immersive sets with a blend of genres rooted in the leftfield, Izhaqo treats his audiences to the magic of braindance. His performances balance the light and the dark, building energy that has the crowd revel on the dance floor through it all. Izhaqo’s journey as a DJ began with a desire to introduce new and under-explored sounds to the local scene. Co-founder of [HXTCH], a collective in Cox’s Bazar dedicated to curating eccentric dance floors that blend live acts and DJ sets, with a focus on bass, breaks, electro, and leftfield techno. Having grown up in the Middle East before returning to his ancestral town, his multicultural background informs the rhythms and textures of his selections. Appearing on Radio Al Hara of Bethlehem during its early days in the Covid era. Performing for collectives across Bangladesh, including Ghurni Collective,Keep Hush x Bhai Bhai Takeover, Cathouse Dhaka, Gyanjam, Gorbor, Socials, Psymongol, and most recently at the Burning Crab Festival.
