@ethnicdad is a Vancouver-based DJ spinning hard, fast, ‘ethnic’ global club music with a focus on Southeast Asian dancefloor culture. He approaches DJing as a form of political and cultural exploration: a way to hold space for queer and diasporic bodies on the same dancefloor while challenging whose music gets to define a party.

Drawing from genres like vinahouse, indobounce, 3cha, and hard dance, his sets slip between euphoria and chaos, pulling from sounds born from working-class dancefloors across the Global South and beyond the boundaries of Western club culture.
