Good meowning, everybunny!
Stay tuned for a special secret interview segment at 11am with our Bento Box artist of the week, Toshiki!
Toshiki Soejima is a Tokyo-based solo guitarist who launched his artistic career in earnest with the release of his EP “Life” on March 16, 2021. Known as a “Neo-Soul Guitarist,” Toshiki showcases his musical identity through evocative songwriting and the distinct timbre of his guitar, focusing on instrumental sounds. He continues to release works that feature compositions like “Duet,” a session recording with Kyohei Aruga, and a cover album “Kimama Session,” which includes home sessions with various musicians, both receiving high acclaim primarily on music streaming platforms. Toshiki’s live performances are also well-regarded, with videos such as his live rendition of “Feel Like Makin’ Love” and other cover videos on YouTube accumulating over 10 million views in total. In 2023, he conducted a national tour “True,” spanning major cities from Sapporo to Fukuoka. In addition to his artist activities, Toshiki has published instructional books with Rittor Music and leads one of the largest online guitar schools in Japan, “Soul Guitar Lab,” generously sharing his guitar playing skills with enthusiasts.
Toshiki Soejima brings his long-awaited Australia Tour 2026 to life with an immersive live experience that blends neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop, and modern groove aesthetics. From intimate sessions born in a Tokyo living room to stages around the world, Toshiki’s expressive guitar work and genre-fluid compositions have made him a defining voice in the global neo-soul instrumental movement. This tour marks his first-ever Australian run, showcasing music from across his acclaimed catalogue alongside new material, reimagined with full live arrangements and atmospheric production. It’s a rare opportunity to witness the evolution of a modern artist whose sound transcends language — now brought from Tokyo to the Australian stage.
