New age tape loops samples from a record store in Shahpur Jat, a pocket operator turning traffic whirs into beats, friends playing with and building synths, newfound queer rituals and experiments with language. Sonic collisions that sprawl, subsume and weft akin to the city itself.
Guest producer, sound artist and researcher Shareeka Helaluddin (akka) brings us four mixes + selections from her formative friendships and creative collaborators from the New Delhi underground scene.
