Putting the spotlight on Orchestre Poly-Rythmo. The band first formed in 1968 under the leadership of Mélomé Clément. The Beninese group released over 500 songs from the late 1960s to the early 1980s, becoming one of the most prolific bands of 20th Century Africa.
