Yabun Festival takes place annually on January 26th and is the largest community-led one-day festival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. It was founded in 2001 as a continuation of the very first Survival Day events held during the 1990s. Yabun is 100% Aboriginal-owned and operated through Gadigal Information Service (GIS).
