ealing mutates various strains of their influences across electronic (noise, ambient), rap (southern trap, phonk) and dance music (footwork, techhno) into their own style that's now distinctly recognisable in the so-called Sydney underground. It's no surprise Iglooghost described them as the “best shit coming out of Aus since ACDC".
They came into the studio to introduce us to the speculative world that their newly released second EP kisseswhipthevision explores, whilst sharing insights into their artistic process of experimenting and collaborating (and why their preferred DAW is Reason).
Just as deft on the decks as they are on their SP404, they put together a 100% young thug mix featuring exclusive ealing edits and thugger decon club interpretations alongside classic originals (tracklist can be found here). These may be the final slime blends we'll hear from them as they embark as a "free agent for the Chief Keeftans".....
