Murky, disparte and raw.
Shock Corridor modulates between gloomy, trip hop entrenched basslines and sharp, aggressive post-punk noise.
The six-piece band, based on Wurundjeri country, have been building a steady following. From their very first EP release I’m Afraid I’ve Lost My Way, they’ve embraced an evocative, in your face style. It's a sound that continues to evolve, shown in their latest single ‘Drag Nets’: a foggy, cacophonous combination of noise and art rock.
Gearing up for a spring tour around the country, including a Sydney show at the Trocadero Room, no doubt their music will translate to a joyously abrasive live performance.
“We have to keep in mind that people are spending their money to see you, so you can’t really f*** it up.”
