Pulsing outwards from Sydney, Arketek are an experimental electronic duo making waves.
Renowned for their genre defying live sets, Jack and James use modular synthesisers to create an undefinable sound, sliding between industrial, acid and techno music effortlessly.
Capturing the liquidated essence of a live set, Arketek submerges you into a new musical landscape carved out by drum machines and shifting bpm’s. Predominantly a live act, improvisation plays a significant role in their compositions, allowing for experiments to flourish and take on new forms, twisting reality into a trance of mechanical euphoria.
Commonly known as a duo that ‘don’t have much music out’, Arketek have released three songs and two remixes this year, with more to come. Inspired by experimental and industrial scenes in Berlin, Jack and James are creating music that serves more as a lingering emotion pulsating through a crowd, rather than a simple sonic souvenir.
A must-see live, Arketek thrives off a new kind of energy.
