You peer into your reflection at the still aqua mirror.
Your lungs fill with a crisp air that reacts and burns in your lungs. Bubbles conjure and breach the surface on ‘Forever new’ cracking your known resemblance. Your heart races to a 191bpm pounding kick, unable to tell if it's your face or the water. Samples and snares rumble and resist and your heart smoothens. The water overflows and begins to cascade through the canyon.
You peer along the bank, thinking about jumping in. You long to be immersed in the clarity, the sound, the feeling, to be so far removed from yourself in this moment. You feel the cascade and know you have truly found a Sanctuary. You feel it deep in your bones, you want to get closer.
You take a plunge. The brisk water stabs at your ribs much like the synths on ‘Theres Music In The Air’, refreshed by the sensation you feel a pull of gravity winching you to its centre. As you begin to move the lush evergreen above glints its dewy dress. The synths and crashing drums fill your ears as the speed picks up and the glints allude as sparks.
You submerse yourself, it’s as if you were ‘Under The Bridge’. The tunnel of water and aqua foliage you find yourself familiarly acquainted with lifts your spirit. You cling to this feeling like ‘Religion’. The soaring synths syncopate so seamlessly, you lose yourself in them and come up to the surface to catch your breath.
The birds are calling, reminding you to ‘Be Here Now’. Serenity has been both acknowledged and achieved. You’ve been searching for this for a long time. This moment, a snapshot in time, soon to be a memory that you’ll cling to dearly. You refuse to let it end, you want this to last a lifetime.
You feel free. Remnants of past ‘Addictions’ have left your skin, your soul. You attach yourself to the drums, constant in their remembering. You release yourself from current attachments. Truly free. At one with your surroundings.
You become more conscious of your surroundings. You had already become acquainted with the flora, but now you must accept that you are in a shared space. Fauna abounds. Some of which have ‘Saucer Eyes’. You attempt to mentally befriend them. You see a ‘Huntsman’ and dispel any fear that arises. There is no space for it at this moment. You remember yourself, remembering that you are coexisting with the biota.
The sun hits the water, reflecting into a beautiful ‘Ray Of Light’. You move towards it, hoping that the sun will bless you with its divinity. As the light envelopes you in it’s warm embrace you feel a sense of weightlessness. You give in, to the physical place, the emotion and the sonic context of time and space you find yourself in. You have yearned for this. You are now in communion with the Sanctuary.
