Black Fondu - BLACKFONDUISM - album cover

The EP channels restlessness, joy, and frustration into sound, turning personal experience into something immersive.

London-via-Accra artist BLACK FONDU presents BLACKFONDUISM, his seven-track debut EP and a first full statement from one of the UK’s most uncompromising new voices. At just 21, Reggie, rapper, producer, and visual artist, is crafting a sound that collides rap, hyperpop, and noise into something raw, personal, and entirely his own.

Recorded between his bedroom in London and a short trip to Paris, the EP captures moments only he could understand by living them. His process is instinct-led: freestyling, following emotion wherever it leads, and trusting the music to reveal itself. Working in isolation has presented challenges, but it has also forged a sharp confidence in the work itself, an unshakable trust in the power of the music to carry its own weight.

Every moment on BLACKFONDUISM feels alive. The EP channels restlessness, joy, and frustration into sound, turning personal experience into something immersive. It moves between chaos and tenderness, confrontation and playfulness, capturing the thrill of creation and the intimacy of being fully, unashamedly yourself. BLACK FONDU’s music is instinctive, immediate, and in motion; beats hit like pulses, textures scratch and collide, and emotion drives everything forward.

Alongside the EP, a self-directed video for the closing track distills the project into a single stark statement, a visual representation of the world he’s building. BLACKFONDUISM is abrasive and tender, chaotic and meticulous, a declaration of an artist evolving in real time. BLACK FONDU refuses to sit still, and with this debut, he asks: are we ready to follow him?
